Today USA Field Hockey announced the launch of a new Umpire Education platform which hosts a database of videos, images, and diagrams that explain field hockey rules and regulations in great detail and clarity.
USA Field Hockey hopes the site will deepen the understanding of the game by umpires, coaches, athletes, and fans nationwide.
"I am very excited that with the expertise of Nick Conway we are able to establish this platform so that everyone involved with hockey in the U.S. has an avenue to keep abreast of the latest rules and interpretations," said Steve Horgan, National Umpire Director of USA Field Hockey. "Even as our team 'Goes for the Gold' in London, we are updating video on the platform. This level of communication within our organization should prove very beneficial to everyone."
