Q0012: Can the Stroker Step Backwards?
Yesterday I took a stroke in my field hockey game and the umpire said it was illegal because I stepped backwards first. I did this all summer in Europe. Is it illegal in the US?

Q0011: To Be or Not to Be .. A Stroke?
On a penalty corner the ball is shot at the goal cage from just inside the top of the circle. A defender (not the GK) standing on the goal line unintentionally stops the ball from going into the cage with his foot. The umpire signals penalty corner and gets no argument from the umpire manager at the match. How is this possible?

Q0010: Indoor Sticks Required?
I was at an indoor tournament and they said my daughter couldn't play with her brand new stick. They said it was an outdoor stick and that tournament rules required that everyone use indoor sticks. Is that really a rule?

Q0009: Pardon Me. May I Borrow Your Stick?
Red attacker and Blue defender have dropped their sticks. Red attacker grabs the closest of the two sticks and puts the ball in the cage. It was not Red's stick. Is it a goal?"
