UmpireHockey.org, a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, announced today an agreement with Jersey Intensity Field Hockey Club, expanding the Captain of the Year award program into Monmouth County, New Jersey, and that nominations will only be accepted via the organization's website.
UmpireHockey.org announced that Jersey Intensity Field Hockey Club (IntensityFieldHockey.com) is sponsoring the Captain of the Year award program in Monmouth County in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
"I'm very excited to know that this sponsorship is helping to increase the level of rules knowledge in teams competing in the area," said Jersey Intensity owner Kathleen Stefanelli.
In addition, for the first time since the program's inception in 2005, nominations will only be accepted via the organizations online form.
If you know of a deserving captain in Monmouth County, or a captain from any of the other counties with benefactors, please visit UmpireHockey.org to submit one or more nominations.
