NCAA Clarifications (1-10)

Each year the NCAA hockey rules committee publishes modifications to the Rules of Hockey.
During the season, questions arise requiring clarifications to those modifications or how unmodified aspects of the Rules of Hockey should be considered in the context of the NCAA's modifications.
Clarifications are sent to NCAA umpires via assigners. Umpires are often assigned to games by multiple assigners and so receive multiple copies of the clarifications. The documents arrive wherever the umpire happens to access their email (work, home, on their cell phone, etc.) and so organizing the communications becomes a bit of an issue.
Now, for the convenience of the NCAA officiating community, the clarifications will also be published on UmpireHockey.com so that all of the clarifications are easily accessible from any web-enabled computer or cell phone. We are doing this to help assure all umpires that they have all of the clarifications which should in turn contribute to consistent officiating at NCAA contests across the nation.
These clarifications are all written by Steve Horgan, rules interpreter for USA Field Hockey and the NCAA.
