“Umpires are responsible for keeping a written record of goals scored or awarded and of warning or suspension cards used.” — Rule 11.4, Rules of Hockey and Rules of Indoor Hockey

UmpireHockey.com GameKeeper™ cards not only help umpires meet rule requirements, they improve planning and record keeping—before, during, and after competitions!

Printed on 10 Pt. cover stock and measuring 5.6" x 4.25", a GameKeeper card is used like a tiny clipboard.

The inside of a folded card is used to record expenses and payment information related to an assignment (travel distances, team names, expected pay, etc). You can also record site issues (long grass, holes in the net, broken glass, etc.) or notes for your half time or post game discussion with your partner.

This is the un-folded view of the "inside" of a GameKeeper™ card. Use this side for administrative details and payment information. The image is not actual size.

Folded in half, a GameKeeper card only measures 2.8" x 4.25" and easily slips into your pocket with your penalty cards. When a game event happens, like a score or a carding, you pull your GameKeeper out of your pocket, hold it in the palm of your hand and record the event. Because the GameKeeper card is folded, you're writing on what is now double-thick cover stock, which is completely sturdy for writing.

NEW: GameKeeper Tournament cards allow you to use GameKeeper cards at tournaments!

This is one fold of the GameKeeper® Tournament card (the card unfolds and three additional games can be recorded on the card). This image is smaller than actual size.

Each card is saved for record keeping. When, for example, payment is finally received, the GameKeeper card can be pulled from your "to be paid" file and the payment information recorded (check number and amount). When tax time comes around, having your distances recorded on your GameKeeper card satisfies IRS requirements that a written record was made within 24 hours of your travel.

If you would like to learn how to use the GameKeeper cards please read our detailed instructions by clicking here.
