USA Field Hockey has released the 2009 version of its annual comparison table of the Rules of Hockey and the modifications that are used within the USA to govern NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) and NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) competitions.

Among the most significant new differences between the Rules of Hockey and the rules governing games between high schools is that the self pass is not an option in NFHS play.
