Although geared for umpires, the information contained in the 2012 National Indoor Rules Briefing presentation is very important for coaches and players.

The 2012 National Indoor Rules Briefing recording has been divided into four segments.

PART I (12 minutes)
Penalty Corner (approved experiment); Use of Cards (what to card); Suspensions (time and returning to play)

PART II (10 minutes and 32 seconds)
Time Outs (unless otherwise stated, there are none in USA Field Hockey events), 3 Meters / Self Pass / Indirect Circle Entry, Lifted Balls / Bobbles, Judging Pushes versus Hits

PART III (11 minutes and 47 seconds)
Dangerous Play (judging 'drilling'), Stalemates (when to bully -- hint, almost never), Advantage (quality of possession), Breakdown Fouls / Illegal Tackles

PART IV (5 minutes and 34 seconds)
Reminders (sticks over head, three points); Game Plan; Masks / Goggles
